We are pleasantly surprised to see one of North America's leading environmental organizations, the well-established Nature Conservancy, pursuing the same model the Canadian Association of Energy and Pipeline Landowner Associations, (CAEPLA), does with industry.

The Nature Conservancy has teamed up with several leading pipeline companies to create strategies for proactively protecting soil and water in hilly and mountainous terrain.  Enbridge, a company CAEPLA works cooperatively with on similar concerns in Canada, is a participant.
